PTA's Policies and Procedures Regarding COVID-19 Read More
Dear Patients and Families,
As a pediatric wellness clinic, we strive to provide you with the safest environment possible for your child’s therapy. To that end, our staff would like to update you regarding the extra precautions we are taking given the recent COVID-19 viral outbreak.
PTA is a Wellness clinic. If you or your child(ren) are experiencing symptoms of illness, please cancel your appointment and stay home.
The CDC has advised three common-sense precautions that we can take to limit exposure to COVID-19 and other viral illnesses: handwashing, respiratory hygiene, and social distancing.
Please have everyone in your family wash hands thoroughly when you arrive. Our restrooms are being serviced more frequently during this time, and will have soap, water, and towels for your use. Our clinicians will continue to practice thorough hand-washing between patients.
If you sneeze or cough, please do so into your elbow. We will have tissues, hand sanitizer, and Clorox wipes available for your use in our waiting rooms.
We have rearranged our waiting room to allow appropriate social distancing between those waiting. We encourage caregivers to go to the therapy room with their child as therapeutically appropriate to minimize the number of people in our waiting rooms. We also have additional waiting areas throughout our clinics. Please let our staff know if you would prefer to wait there.
In between patients, we have been and will continue to use CDC recommended procedures to sanitize treatment areas and materials. We have also been implementing regular sanitizing of waiting room areas.
We look forward to continuing to provide our patients and their families with high-quality medical care. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me at 919-781-4434.
