Early Steps Learning Preschool

Early Steps Learning is a non-profit inclusive preschool program offered to infants and toddlers up to 42 months of age. We are currently offering classes at two locations. In Apex, we are offering two Tuesday/Thursday morning classes at The Prince of Peace Episcopal Church (off of Highway 64). Our Wake Forest preschool, offered on Monday and Friday mornings, is located at North Wake Church (1212 S. Main Street).  At both locations, the preschool morning begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 p.m. 

Each infant/toddler classroom of 6 children includes a preschool teacher and a teacher’s assistant. Developmental therapy, speech-language pathology, physical therapy, and occupational therapy are all offered to benefit your child during the preschool day.

Children enrolled in our Early Steps Learning Preschool participate in a language-rich, theme-based curriculum designed to help all of the children achieve their individual goals. Children authorized for services will receive individual therapy sessions as well as developmental therapy during group activities.  Other activities include snack time, outdoor playtime, arts and crafts, and music and movement within the classroom curriculum. Community based instruction, including field trips, is also part of our program.
