Susan Jerchower, M.S., CCC-SLP

Susan received both her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (1993) and her Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology (1998) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She is a North Carolina native and a true Tarheel.  She has worked in a variety of settings including elementary school, preschool, clinic, and residential facilities.  Her primary interest is providing early intervention services in natural environments.  Other clinical interests include working with children with autism spectrum disorders, apraxia, sensory integration dysfunction, Down syndrome, and pediatric dysphagia.  Susan is trained in the PROMPT technique, which incorporates proprioceptive, auditory, and visual information to provide feedback to the speech system.  She currently provides services in Cary at several Pediatric Therapy Associates contract sites and in home settings.  She lives in Cary with her husband and two young children.
