Stuart Meyer, M.S., CCC-SLP

Stuart graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology in 1990.  She then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to earn her Master of Science in Speech Pathology in 1993.  Stuart has worked in a variety of settings including schools, preschools, clinic based, and home environments.  She has experience evaluating and treating children with a wide range of diagnoses including developmental delay, post traumatic syndrome, shaken baby syndrome, childhood apraxia of speech, Down syndrome, hearing impairment, failure to thrive, traumatic brain injury, phonological disorders, language delays, articulation disorders, and autism.  In addition, literacy is an area in which Stuart has particular interest and expertise.  She is also skilled at using and teaching sign language.

Stuart provides therapy services in homes surrounding our Wake Forest office as well as at a private school, North Raleigh Christian Academy, where her three children attend.  She and her husband love being on the lake with their family and friends.  Stuart also is very involved at Bay leaf Baptist Church where her husband is a pastor.  Baking breads and sweets is her favorite pastime.
