Kristin L. Ryder, M.S., CCC-SLP

Kristin received a Bachelor of Science in Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped from Ithaca College, NY, in 1998. She then obtained her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY, in 2000. Since graduating, Kristin has worked exclusively in pediatrics. She worked with school age children in the Winthrop Public Schools and the Lexington Public Schools in Massachusetts. Concurrently, she worked in early intervention providing speech and language services to children birth to three, as well as providing parent education. Kristin has been working at Pediatric Therapy Associates since 2005. She has experience evaluating and treating a variety of diagnoses in pediatrics, some of which include receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language disorders, articulation and phonology disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, phonological awareness disorders, and fluency disorders. Kristin has worked with a varied population including children with autism, PDD-NOS, Asperger’s, Down syndrome, cognitive impairments, language learning disabilities, and developmental delays.

Kristin is originally from Rochester, NY and moved to Raleigh with her husband in 2005. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their son, who was born in 2007. Kristin also enjoys spending time with friends, scrapbooking, shopping, walking, and reading. She provides services in our Raleigh and Cary offices.
