Kasey Wright, OTR/L

Kasey graduated in 2002 from East Carolina University. Her work experience has been exclusive to pediatrics in private clinics, home based early intervention and school based settings. Her therapy technique utilizes a sensory integrative approach during treatment sessions for sensory, developmental, and fine motor treatment, balancing play and challenging experiences for each child. Her continuing education includes multiple courses on sensory integration, oral motor and handwriting evaluation and remediation. Kasey is experienced in working with children with developmental delays, sensory integration dysfunction, fine motor delays, autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and a wide range of other syndromes and disabilities. She is also the mother of two young children, including one born prematurely.  One of the focuses of her therapy is to educate and train families in home based programs in order to maximize occupational therapy’s potential. She works in the Wake Forest office.
