Estelle Tsalik, PT, DPT

Estelle received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011.  She is originally from Cape Town, South Africa and moved to New York in 1996 to continue pursuing a career in dance andmusical theater.  Estelle always knew she would transition to Physical Therapy after her career as a professional dancer came to an end.  As amother of three young children, pediatric and neonatal physical therapy has become a keen interest of hers.  As a pediatric physical therapist, she feels privileged to play a role in improving/restoring function that may impact a child’s trajectory, potentially for life.  Estelle has worked with children and adults in a variety of settings including early intervention, acute care, outpatient rehabilitation, and private practice. Estelle has also had the privilege to provide physical therapy services at the yearly Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy Camp (CIMT). Estelle is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the North Carolina Chapter of the Physical Therapy Association, and is a member of the APTA’s Section on Pediatrics.

Estelle provides therapy services in our Wake Forest office.  In herfree time she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, cooking,reading and cake decorating.  She is very excited to be part of the PTAfamily.
