Donna Kuni, M.Ed., Developmental Therapist

Donna graduated from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then earned a Master of Special Education, specializing in mental retardation and behavior/emotional disorders, from North Carolina State University. To further her education and training, Donna completed a Professional Certification in Autism and will soon complete certification in Applied Behavior Analysis through Pennsylvania State University. Donna previously taught in the Wake County Public Schools as a teacher for students with autism and developmental delays, as well as students with behavioral and emotional disabilities. As a classroom teacher, Donna was nominated for, and received, the 2004 North Carolina Autism Society’s Teacher of the Year award. She currently implements a home program based on ABA principles for a child with autism. Her simple philosophy is that all children can be successful.
