Avry Payne, PT

Avry completed her undergraduate coursework at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She continued her education in Florida, where in 2003 she received her degree in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Avry has since worked solely in pediatrics in a variety of settings including outpatient, home health, and preschools. She has experience evaluating and treating children with diagnoses including cerebral palsy, prematurity, spina bifida, torticollis, sensory dysfunction, Down syndrome, and other genetic and neurological disorders. Avry has further developed her skills by completing numerous continuing education courses in the areas of lower extremity orthotics, neurodevelopmental therapy (NDT), and sensory disorders.

Avry provides therapy services part-time in Raleigh and Wake Forest.  In her spare time, she enjoys doing anything outdoors, jogging, reading, traveling, and chasing her two year old daughter.  She and her husband are expecting a new baby in the summer of 2009.
