Ashley Hamlett, M.A., CCC-SLP

Ashley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from North Carolina State University in 2005. She then earned a Mater of Arts in Communication Disorders from Appalachian State University in 2007. Ashley has worked in pediatrics in a variety of settings including private practice, preschools, and day-cares. She has experience evaluating and treating children with articulation disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorders, phonological disorders, auditory processing disorders, oral motor disorders, and fluency disorders. In addition to her experience with literacy and treating children with reading delays, Ashley is also trained in both PROMPT and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System). 

Ashley provides services in our Wake Forest office and at one of our contract sites. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, hiking, and camping with her husband Mark. Ashley also likes to visit with friends and family whenever she gets the chance. Ashley and her husband reside in Raleigh with their Golden Retriever Sasha.
