Amy Michael, M.S., CCC-SLP

Amy received a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication with a concentration in Communication Disorders from Meredith College in 2002.  She then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from East Carolina University in 2004.  Amy has experience in the evaluation and treatment of articulation and phonological delays, receptive and expressive language delays, oral motor and feeding issues, and fluency disorders.  In addition, she has experience with children with a variety of diagnoses including autism, Down syndrome, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, and spina bifida.  Amy has specialized training in both PROMPT and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System).  She has worked in home, preschool, and inpatient rehabilitative settings.  Amy provides services in our Cary location.
