Abigail C. Nguyen, MOT, OTR/L

Abby earned a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Florida in 2004.  Go Gators!  She then received a Masters of Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2006.  After graduating, she worked in an outpatient setting with adults and pediatrics.  Abby has experience working with a variety of diagnoses including: autism, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, fine motor and visual perceptual/motor issues, sensory processing disorders, and a variety of other syndromes and disabilities.  She has been trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Feeding Approach.  Abby is also experienced using the “Handwriting Without Tears” program, the Therasuit ® method with children with cerebral palsy, and Mulligan Concept manual therapy techniques.  In addition, Abby provided aquatic therapy services to individuals in Florida and hopes to extend her knowledge in this arena in North Carolina.

Abby provides services in our Cary office.  She is originally from Florida and loves the beach!  She also enjoys cooking, traveling, and watching sports (especially UF football).  In her free time Abby loves to spend time with her family, friends, and dogs.
