Roxanne Long, B.A., Developmental Therapist

Roxanne graduated in 1995 from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a concentration in Mediation and Negotiation, and a minor in French.  In 2006, she completed her Birth-Kindergarten licensure at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Roxanne has completed internships at the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute, focusing on children with a variety of disorders and developmental delays.  She has also worked as a teacher’s assistant in a language impaired, self-contained classroom through the Wake County Public School System.  Roxanne has 4 years experience in the classroom teaching infant &ndash three year old children with and without special needs.  She is credentialed as an Infant Toddler and Family Specialist, and is currently providing developmental therapy and teaching at our Early Steps Learning Preschool.  She has a special appreciation for families of diverse cultures after living in Paris, France for two years.
