Kathleen Piazza, M.S., CCC-SLP

Kathleen received her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Utah in 1992. She went on to obtain a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Utah in 1993. While working at the New England Rehabilitation Hospital in Massachusetts, she received the ACE award for her efforts in continuing education. Kathleen has worked with adult and pediatric populations in a variety of settings including hospital, inpatient rehab, outpatient, home health, public schools, private practice, and preschools/daycares.  She has expertise in evaluating and treating children and adults with a variety of impairments and diagnoses including feeding/oral motor disorders, swallowing, expressive and receptive language impairments, traumatic brain injury, articulation/phonology disorders, voice disorders and fluency difficulties.  In addition, Kathleen has Infant Toddler and Family Specialist Credentials.  Kathleen moved with her family to the Raleigh area from Massachusetts in 2005 and has been with PTA since the spring of 2006.
