Kate Hedrick, M.S., CCC-SLP

Kate graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a minor in Spanish.  She then completed a year of post-baccalaureate studies at North Carolina State University in Communication Sciences and Disorders before going on to earn a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from East Carolina University.  Kate has experience in a variety of adult and pediatric settings including adult inpatient acute and outpatient rehabilitation services within a hospital and pediatric services within a private clinic.  Kate has experience working with children of all ages with varying diagnoses such as Down syndrome, autism, articulation disorders, cleft palate, genetic disorders, stuttering, and language disorders.
