Cari Field

Cari graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Spanish from Harding University in Arkansas. She continued on at Harding University to earn a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Cari has experience in a variety of adult and pediatric settings including adult inpatient acute and outpatient hospital care, and assisted living facilities.  Cari has experience working with a variety of multicultural populations.  She has worked with the Hispanic community in Searcy, Arkansas and Raleigh, North Carolina, in addition to working on language and feeding development in an orphanage in Zambia, Africa. She has served as an in-home speech therapist for a private practice in the North Raleigh and downtown Raleigh area, then served in a multi-disciplinary clinic in Garner.  Cari began working at Pediatric Therapy Associates in May, 2015.  Cari has experience in the evaluation and treatment of children with a variety of diagnoses including: autism spectrum disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, selective mutism, genetic disorders, Down syndrome, traumatic brain injury, seizure disorders, developmental delays, articulation/phonological disorders, auditory processing disorders, fluency disorders, and cleft lip and palate.
