Anna Carrick

Anna received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a Concentration in Disorders from North Carolina State University in 2007.  She then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from East Carolina University in 2009.  Anna has worked with both adults and children in the private practice setting as well as acute care in the hospital setting.  Anna has experience in the evaluation and treatment of children with a variety of diagnoses including articulation/phonological disorders, language disorders/delays, autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, childhood apraxia of speech, fluency disorders, written language disorders, and oral motor/swallowing/feeding disorders.  In addition, she has specialized training in the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), PROMPTs for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT), and in treating feeding/swallowing disorders using a Medical Motor Behavioral Approach.

In her free time, Anna enjoys going to the beach with family and friends, reading, attending NC State sporting events, and listening to any type of live music. Anna lives in Raleigh with her husband and son.
