Abigail B. Calalang, MOT, OTR/L

Abby earned a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Florida in 2004.  Go Gators!  She then received a Master of Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2006.  After graduating, she worked in an outpatient setting with adults and pediatrics.  Abby has experience working with a variety of diagnoses including: autism, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, fine motor and visual perceptual/motor issues, sensory processing disorders, and a variety of other syndromes and disabilities.  She also has experience using the Therasuit ® method with children with cerebral palsy.  In addition, Abby provided aquatic therapy services to individuals in Florida and hopes to extend her knowledge in this arena in North Carolina.  She is also experienced using the “Handwriting Without Tears” program and Mulligan Concept manual therapy techniques.
